About Me

Michael Pennington is an experienced mortgage professional who has helped his clients reach their home and financial goals since 2003. A veteran of the Marine Corps, Michael focuses on delivering excellent service and providing loan solutions that meet each customer’s unique home financing needs.

Michael’s years of experience means he’s an expert in the mortgage industry. He combines a deep knowledge of the financial markets with a direct approach that saves time, helps his customers achieve goals, and provides winning offers. Michael finds solutions others may miss and has built his business on always being available when his customers need him. Even more, he develops relationships with his client’s real estate agents, creating a multi-faceted support system that keeps the client’s goals at the forefront of every transaction.

When Michael isn’t helping customers, he’s with his wife, Kory, and their son, Jack. Fans of the Charlotte Football Club, the family is often rooting for their home team during the season. He’s an avid bourbon collector who has assembled over 300 unique bottles and is usually searching for a hard-to-find blend.

In 2022, Michael and his wife launched the ROB Foundation in honor of his friend and colleague, Rob Prestininzi, who passed away in 2021. The foundation awards scholarships to students who have lost a parent or guardian as they work to build a brighter future.
